چکیده
The course is suitable for senior nurses, clinical nurse specialists and allied health professionals working directly with adult cancer patients with dependent children (under 18 years) and particularly those interested in enhancing their clinical competence and confidence supporting parents with cancer. The module has been designed to enable students to develop an understanding of systemic family theory and developmental psychology. Particular attention will be given to the impact of illness on children and the family along the illness trajectory and children’s understanding of illness in accordance with their age and developmental stage.
